Women’s rituals can soothe or ignite your inner being. The experience is grounding, comforting, releasing, empowering, cathartic, and personal but also unifying in the sense that the support and energy of each other encompasses us. Rituals can instill a sense of your full self while gaining strength and momentum. They not only empower and heal us as individual women, but they also open the flood gates of possibility for social and global change.
Women’s ceremony can be a more unifying and empowering group experience (think birthday parties, weddings), and rituals can be more grounding and self-reflective. Both rituals and ceremonies instill a sense of belonging. Both tap into our personal needs. And both fulfill our innate and birthright needs for women’s community and sisterhood.
Rituals and ceremonies come in many forms and have been practiced widely around the globe for thousands of years. Both are incorporated into our retreats in meaningful, unique, and universal ways that unite all women while allowing the freedom to relate them to their own personal journeys. They are matriarchal in spirit, but there is no indoctrination or assumption involved. Wild Women Hawai'i defines "spiritual" as "from within" and inner, non-physical. This gives each woman the freedom and respect to decide and define how spirituality relates to her self.
My rituals and ceremonies are sacred, bespoke, and held close to my heart. I can’t wait to share them with you within the safe space of our women’s weekend retreat.
Warmly,
Michelle
