Softly was created in response to the pace and pressure of these times—
offering sanctuary, steadiness, and nervous system care
in a sacred, quiet forest setting.

including several of the guided sessions led by the sanctuary’s own team.
This forest feels otherworldly. Lush, living, and unlike anywhere else. Many say it reminds them of Avatar. We think of it simply as sacred.


Your Guide
I’m Michelle, founder of Wild Women Hawai‘i—a space where women come to soften, root, and return to themselves in quiet company with nature.
As a licensed somatic practitioner and certified forest therapy guide, I offer gentle, grounded support through slow movement, sensory presence, and deep connection with the living Earth.
I’m not here to teach, but to guide a rhythm you can settle into—without doctrine, performance, or pressure. Just presence, care, and space to return to yourself.
This retreat isn’t about escaping.
It’s about remembering our roots—
a return to what’s steady, sacred, and genuine.
I’ll be here to hold the rhythm with you.
Facilitation & Flow
Softly is a guided experience, not a collaborative or co-facilitated space. You're invited to fully receive—there’s no need to offer, teach, or share practices of your own. This retreat is designed to let each woman rest into presence without pressure, performance, or the need to share personal philosophies.
All offerings are gently held by Michelle, with several nature-based experiences led by guides from Kona Cloud Forest Sanctuary—and nourishment lovingly prepared by our private chef.

Beth is a personal chef on the Big Island and the creative force behind CommunityEats — a project rooted in “food for you to gather around,” blending recipes, inspiration, and stories from around the globe.
With a background in both fine dining and soulful gatherings, she brings an intuitive, artful touch to every meal. Her style is abundant, sensory, and grounding — the kind of food that nourishes both body and spirit.
Meals will be vegetarian and lovingly prepared on-site, using fresh ingredients that reflect the tone and texture of our retreat.

Softly is a cloud-kissed oasis above the noise—

High on the mist-covered slopes of Hualālai,
nestled within one of Earth’s rarest ecosystems,
lies a forest untouched by crowds—revered, and quietly alive.
Just fifteen minutes above Kona,
the air cools, the noise softens,
and the land begins to speak in gentler ways.
Here, among native trees and the slow drift of cloud and wind, we’ll retreat.
Softly is a peaceful and introspective women’s retreat—
an invitation to return to your body, your inner rhythm,
and a deeper connection with body, breath, and nature.
We’ll be held at Hale Pūnana, the nest house—
a cozy home tucked into our own private nook
of the forest.

Thoughtfully woven into our five days together
are slow, body-based practices and sensory work.
Somatics and forest therapy will soothe your nervous system
and root you in the land.
You’ll also be guided through meaningful trail experiences,
sound meditation, and outdoor slow-flow yoga—
all held in reverence for Earth.
This is a gentle reset—
no performance, no pressure.

You’ll be supported by the forest itself—
this rare Hawaiian tropical montane cloud forest,
home to diverse native life and a living reforestation effort.
