Tending to the Whole Woman

Wild Women Hawai‘i gatherings are peaceful, down to earth sanctuaries created to nourish your whole being: socially, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and environmentally.
We honor the wisdom of wellness as a holistic path. As Oxford Reference notes, true wellness is cultivated through a blend of emotional, environmental, mental, physical, social, and spiritual health. The Global Wellness Institute expands on this, describing wellness as “the active pursuit of activities, choices, and lifestyles that lead to a state of holistic health.”
At Wild Women Hawai‘i, we embrace this interconnected view. We believe wellness is not a single destination, but a journey of tending to the whole woman; her body, her mind, her heart, her relationships, and her connection to the Earth.
These gatherings are designed to support the whole woman, but each experience is personal. You may be drawn to one aspect more than another, or simply to the feeling of being in a nourishing environment. What follows describes the full scope of what these spaces are capable of holding, as a whole. Your experience will be your own.

Social Wellness
When women thrive, communities flourish. Connection among women creates ripples of healing that extend outward into the world.
A nurturing space for mutual support and authentic kinship.
Honoring both our shared experiences and our unique differences through peaceful coexistence.
A space where women are free to express, feel, and be witnessed.
We welcome women from Hawaii and beyond, recognizing that collective healing strengthens entire communities.
Spaces rooted in kindness, where every woman feels seen and supported.
Cultural sharing that fosters deeper understanding and bonds across backgrounds.
A support network where each woman is valued, respected, and held.
A shared remembering of our worth, our power, and our place in the greater worldly whole.

Emotional Wellness
Freedom to express yourself openly
A safe space to show up as your most true, authentic self
Gentle, intentional activities that calm the nervous system and uplift mood
Talking/listening circles that cultivate empathy, compassion, and deep listening
A focus on stillness and inner peace
Nature-rooted experiences that support emotional and energetic well-being
A digital detox that invites relief from the noise of the outside world
Belonging that reminds you that you’re not alone
A quiet yet powerful realization that you are supported and seen

Physical Wellness
Nourishing, wholesome vegetarian meals to support whole-body wellness
Many experiences take place outdoors, inviting fresh air, gentle movement, and breath for natural vitality
Somatic practices centered on body positivity, self-acceptance, and intuitive movement
Slow hikes and embodied movement to gently enhance energy and support overall well-being
Forest bathing (shinrin-yoku), a Japanese wellness practice that restores energy, lowers stress, and clears the mind

Spiritual* Wellness
We honor every woman’s unique spiritual path with openness and respect.
Freedom to explore and grow in your own sacred way
Space to show up fully, just as you are
An invitation to embrace your whole self with compassion and love
Gentle time to nourish your spirit, renew your mind, and restore your body
*At Wild Women Hawai‘i, we define “spiritual” as that which comes from within: intuitive, inner, and beyond the outer physical shell. This definition honors each woman’s right to explore and define spirituality in her own way, with freedom, respect, and personal truth in a grounded, nature-based space without hierarchy, doctrine, or required belief systems.

Environmental Wellness
Thoughtful sustainability practices, including biodegradable or reusable products and locally sourced, seasonal foods
A deepened sense of interconnectedness with nature and all living things
Environmental mindfulness that supports the health and harmony of our island community
Gentle, low-impact activities that honor the land rather than exhaust it
Respect for local culture and history
An invitation to slow down and let the rhythms of nature guide your pace
Practices that encourage gratitude for the Earth and our shared responsibility to care for it
