The Hearth Circle is a steady, down-to-earth gathering for women on the Big Island of Hawai‘i.
We meet monthly to decompress, speak openly, and reconnect with ourselves while forming kindred bonds.
You’re invited to come as you are.
There’s no fixing, no pressure, and no performance required.
What This Space Offers
The Hearth Circle is a place to be yourself.
So many of us are used to giving, often at the expense of ourselves. Even when we take time for ourselves, guilt can quietly follow.
The Hearth Circle is different.
It’s a place to arrive just as you are, to be nourished instead of drained.
This is a form of belonging many of us have been missing.
It doesn’t matter whether you’ve lived on island for a month or a lifetime.
The Hearth Circle is a guided space, held with care and intention. Each gathering follows the same gentle rhythm so you can simply arrive, let go, be supported, and witness one another as kindred women.
What to Expect
Each gathering follows a soft, steady rhythm.
We begin with a simple somatic grounding practice to help us relax into the space. This may include breath, guided awareness, or gentle grounding — never exercise or performance. This may vary depending on the week and the needs of the group.
This is followed by spacious, facilitated sharing.
Every woman is given space to express her voice without feedback or commentary. Sharing is held with care so that everyone has time to speak.
No experience or preparation is needed.
About Your Facilitator
I’ve led women’s circles in Hawai‘i since 2022, and I’ve lived in Hilo for over 30 years.
My background in somatic practices and movement helps me hold space in a way that’s calm, embodied, and respectful, where no one is rushed or overlooked.
I created The Hearth Circle because I saw the need for a true space of belonging.
This circle is part of a larger purpose: creating spaces where women can release the weight of societal pressures and be met just as they are.

Location
We meet monthly on a Wednesday evening in my private home studio on the Kaumana side of Hilo. The space was intentionally designed for women’s gatherings and somatic work: peaceful, grounded, and warm. Directions are shared after registration.
Comfort & Access
The studio is set up for floor-seated circles on an elevated wooden floor. Soft blankets and a few cushions are provided; Chairs are not permitted in the space.
If you have specific mobility or comfort needs, please reach out. I’m happy to explore options with you.
Please note: the studio is located in a private home and is not wheelchair accessible. I’m also unable to provide physical assistance with mobility, transfers, or personal care.
Connection Beyond the Circle
Friendships grow naturally here, and you’re welcome to exchange contact information if it feels mutual and consensual. Out of respect for the group container, please do this privately as relationships develop rather than sharing a contact list with the whole circle. This helps preserve the trust and intimacy of our gatherings.
