The Quiet Heart of Circle

Some women have shared with me that the idea of being in a women’s circle makes them hesitate.
I understand.
Maybe you’ve been in spaces that felt more like performance than presence.
Maybe you were asked to share more than felt safe at the time.
Maybe you’ve seen circles that felt exclusive—or where openness was expected before trust had a chance to grow.
I want to speak to that—because circle is the quiet heart of what we do.
But not the kind you might be picturing.
You don’t have to share.
You don’t have to tell your story.
You don’t have to know what to say.
Silence is welcome.
Tears are welcome.
So is laughter.
So is being exactly where you are.
We gather to listen, not to impress.
To soften, not to perform.
To remember we belong—even in our quietest places.
This is the kind of circle I hold.
One that asks nothing of you but presence.
One that lets you arrive, breathe, and be.
