Sowing the Seeds of a Wild Sisterhood Movement
The name Wild Woman is inspired by the timeless work of Clarissa Pinkola Estés and her 1992 book Women Who Run with the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype - a book that has touched women around the world and sparked the birth of Wild Woman circles and sisterhoods across the globe.
Our sister tribe lives in England, and here in Hawaiʻi, Wild Women Hawaiʻi carries this lineage forward in a way that is rooted, respectful, and resonant.
To us, “wild” means ancestrally grounded, innately connected, and boldly countercultural - a way of being that lovingly resists the narratives that ask us to shrink, hide, or forget ourselves.
We are here to shift the paradigm.
To offer women a sanctuary.
To create space for what is real, sacred, and true.
Our Core Values at Every Retreat
While each gathering may be shaped by a unique theme, our foundational intentions remain the same:
🌿 Sisterhood & Emotional Wellness
We come together as a supportive circle - a living network of care, empathy, and belonging.
🌺 Connection with Nature & the Wild Within
We gather in untamed, natural locations that mirror the untamed spirit within each of us. Through rewilding, we return to the Earth, and to ourselves.
💗 Freedom to Be Ourselves
This is a judgment-free space. We show up fully, authentically, and with kindness - offering one another acceptance, compassion, and truth.
Whether you're arriving for the first time or returning to the circle, you are an essential part of this global sisterhood of wild women.
We understand that the deep need for connection, stillness, and authenticity transcends location. While our retreats are rooted in Hawaiʻi, they are open to all kind-hearted women, near or far, who feel the call.
Our gatherings are not tourist experiences.
They are not for adventure or sightseeing.
They are sacred containers to be, to listen, and to remember.
We stay in one natural place. We slow down. We soften.
And in that stillness, we come home.
Thank you for supporting this woman-led, Hawaiʻi-rooted movement.
Thank you for walking this path with us.
